Coaching for Coaches

coaching for coaches

Starting or growing a coaching practice has it’s own unique challenges, many of which can be avoided by working with a mentor coach who has already successfully navigated the process. Having support and guidance can help you save time and money, as well as stay on track to success.

Many new coaches feel overwhelmed or stuck when it comes to creating their business. I can help you simplify your systems, zero in on your marketing message, build confidence working with clients and create a coaching practice you will love.

They can also feel fear or doubt about their skills or experience imposter syndrome when they first start coaching. Having someone to listen and support you can make all the difference. As an experienced coach I am able to help you through specific client issues you are experiencing and in deepening your skills and confidence as a coach.

With over 20 years as a successful life and business coach I have the skills, knowledge and expertise to help you with:

  • Business basics and simple systems that work
  • Marketing, branding, choosing a niche (or not)
  • Becoming confident as a coach
  • Enrollment conversations
  • Creating programs
  • Coaching tools and training
  • Improving your coaching skills
  • Moving past overwhelm or feeling stuck
  • Assistance with specific client questions or issues

Many of the coaches I work with have recently graduated from a coach training school and may have even learned about marketing. They often feel overwhelmed, like there are a million things they have to do and it has to look a certain way. If they want something a bit different or feel unsure how to bring things to life they may feel like there is something in them that is not right for coaching and lose confidence, stay stuck or quit.

There are many different ways to coach. One of the things I am known for is helping new coaches hone in on their own skills and qualities, past experience, and what they truly love. We use this information to help them create a coaching practice that is uniquely their own. This increases confidence, prevents imposter syndrome and allows them to thrive as coaches.

There are also a lot of different ways to market your business. Many coaches feel overwhelmed by all the options and sometimes believe they have to do them all. The truth is that marketing your coaching practice can be simple and play to your strengths. I can help you find the things that will work for your clients and vision, while honoring what comes naturally to you.

Here is how one of my former clients describes our work together:

“When I reached out to Linda, I was skeptical about working with a coach. I’d interviewed several coaches over the years, and I always came away feeling unsettled, like I’d just dealt with a car dealer, trying to upsell me. However, my experience with Linda was completely different.

Don’t let Linda’s gentle demeanor fool you. She is fierce and mighty, but in the kindest, heartfelt and meaningful way. She listens with a keen ear, picking up on cues that other, less skilled coaches may overlook. And her ability to access her intuition and share the wisdom that comes through her is always impressive.

I began working with Linda for help marketing my own Coaching practice. I’d been building a by-the-book practice. But soon into our work together, with Linda’s gentle guidance, I began to create the practice of my dreams. Up until then, I hadn’t even imagined that was a possibility.

We worked together to rebuild my website. Linda’s insights and wisdom were incredibly helpful as we created text that was reflective of who I am and the type of services I was offering. She was also very quick to respond to questions or concerns I had in between sessions, always offering clear direction on next steps if I was floundering.

Linda also offered me a wonderful approach to onboarding new clients. She provided many clear and concise steps I could take to invite and encourage conversations with potential clients without feeling like I was pushing.

And beyond our work together on building my practice, Linda was extremely helpful in dealing with the issues that came up during our sessions. We moved through issues around limiting beliefs, harsh judgments on myself, over-responsibility and even around the grief process as I dealt with the passing of my Dad.

I can’t recommend Linda highly enough. She has been a gift to me in so many ways. I’ve gained a treasure chest full of wonderful skills and tools. And mostly, I feel incredibly loved through all of our sessions. She is an amazing Coach who offers support in the most gentle, yet enthusiastic and wise ways and I’m so grateful for the opportunity to work with her.” S.S.
